5:37am, off to work soon. Then back for a nap then going to my sisters graduation. Oh boy, sitting in a hot gym for an hour. At least it is only an hour.

Did that the past 2 years at my summer job. 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, minimum wage. Yes it sucked, especially since I did the most work and got paid the least. Am making $8.15 this year though, around 40 cents more then minimum.

Its a summer job. And pays $11 (not too bad for min wage)an hour and I only work 7 hours a day. I do lab assistant stuff, setting up experiments and cataloging them on the comp, easy stuff that a college kid/monkey can do. There is alot of down time when there are not lots of stuff to do so they let me browse the net.

The hell... Why are all these states paying a shit load more for min.

Indiana Min Wage = $5.15 unless they upped it. =/

Then again, the cost of living is a lot lower here than a lot of places.

If the price of living is lower then ya, understandable. Federal minimum wage is $5.15 and the price of livinig in Illinois is probably higher then in Indiana so ya. Would explain it.

I think that the price of living in Tahiti is higher lol. But living in the islands is whole different story : if you can fish and love coconuts, then it's all good (also you must say goodbye to technology xD).

It went up last year to 7.50 in July and is going up to 7.75 in July. So ya, I will be making 40 cents over minimum. Hooray! lol
